I grew up in Hawai‘i, and the ocean has always been my second home. Surfing, paddling, sailing, and freediving have shaped my life, and I’ve spent years exploring every way to be in the water. Starting GS Fins is my way of giving back to the place that raised me creating more sustainable fins that make a real difference, because at the end of the day, it’s the small things that count.

Hello. I'm Scott Byrne. I am a passionate surfer that has been surfing all over the world for over 6 years now. Places like Indonesia, South Africa, and Peru. And these are only some of the places I strive to travel to. Now, fin-wise, I would always ding my fins or break them with coral or rocks at the places I would surf. So I thought to myself, "There has to be a better alternative." This is why we created GS fins! GS fins are a cheaper, more affordable, and more environmentally friendly way of obtaining surf fins! All GS fins are made locally in the surfing capital of the world, Honolulu, Hawaii.
